Job Description:
Various companies seeking Contracts Administrator for their offices in Washington DC and Vienna, VA.
Responsibilities include:
Manage contracts, subcontracts, non-disclosures, and teaming agreements so approvals, extensions, modifications, supplemental funding requests, key personnel notifications, and other actions are handled promptly.
Perform closeout administration of contracts and related subcontracts, including compliance evaluation, modification processing, routing of contractual documents, contract filing and maintenance of contract files, and maintenance of SAP contracts database.
Develop, plan and schedule proposals. Compiles cost, schedule, and technical elements in the development of proposals in accordance with request for proposal (RFP) specifications.
Ensure compliance with appropriate regulations including FAR.
Coordinate with program managers on financial and administrative matters that impact contracts.
Prepare spreadsheets, spend plans, fee analyses, and profitability projections in a Microsoft Office environment.
Coordinate the collection and accumulation of cost, scheduling, and performance elements from functional departments.
Research and analyze contract renewals, modifications, and wage determinations.
Ensures the proper allocation of labor hour estimates, rates, ODC, subcontractor, and material requirements, and overhead pools.
Perform cost/price analysis and develop pricing templates and models to evaluate different strategies and "what-if" scenarios. Develops and presents price assumptions, financial summaries, and risk assessment to senior leadership prior to proposal submission.
Ability to travel as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree; MA/MS/MBA a plus.
4-7 years of relevant experience in the administration of government contracts is required.
Experience with a variety of contract types (FFP, CPFF, T&M, IDIQ) is highly desirable. Knowledge of appropriate regulations including FAR and DFAR are required.
Must be skilled in analyzing contracts for compliance, and have expertise in dealing with non-routine and complex projects.
Track record of being a team player with flexibility to adapt to changing work requirements are essential.
Experience with contract start-ups, contract terminations, contract modifications, change in scope and task order level pricing.
SAP experience preferred.
Experience with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point and other software products as required.
Ability to travel off-site as required.
