Job Title:                           Senior Contract Administrator - IT (PSI-1204)

 

Location:                           McLean, VA

 

Salary:                              $90,000 – $100,000

 

Employment:                     Direct hire

 

 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

 

  • Oversees the negotiating, structuring, and management of contractual documents that establish business relationships with vendors, customers and/or partners.
  • Reviews and approves documents for protection of the company's contractual posture and adherence to company policy.
  • Advises management of contractual rights and obligations and provides interpretation of terms and conditions.
  • Provides resolutions to an extensive range of complicated problems. Solutions are innovative, thorough, and practicable.
  • Works under limited direction Independently determines and develops approach to solutions.
  • Work is evaluated upon completion for adequacy in satisfying objectives.
  • Represents the organization as the principal customer contact on contracts and often performs project leadership role.
  • Interacts with senior customer personnel on significant technical matters frequently requiring coordination across organizational lines

 

Qualifications:

  • College Degree or equivalent experience; advanced studies/degree preferred.
  • 5- 7 years direct experience working in the contracting field, issuing/leading the RFP process, evaluating proposals, negotiating, writing, and administering contracts, etc.
  • Significant experience (4 or more years) negotiating and writing contracts for technology solutions including ASP/SaaS agreements, license agreements, etc.
  • Proven ability to provide guidance and advice to internal customers in the development of statements of work.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels, both internally and externally
  • Proven ability to exercise good business judgment and work independently, utilizing best practices in the contracting field.

 

It is preferred that applicants have: (1) Significant experience negotiating and writing contracts for outsourced services and (2) Completed college level courses related to contract law
