Job Title: Subcontracts Administrator
Location: Northern Virginia
Salary: Negotiable
Employment: Direct Hire or Contract to Hire
Summary:
We have a reoccurring need for experienced Subcontract Administrators to fill openings with our Northern Virginia clients. Candidates should be experienced contracting professionals with a proven understanding of cradle-to-grave subcontracts administration under the FARs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Experience in a CPSR-approved procurement system environment.
· Fluent understanding and application of FAR and FAR supplement-based subcontracting principles, concepts, practices, and standards.
· Experience with supporting complex proposals, developing, analyzing, evaluating subcontractor solicitations and proposals.
· Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
· Proven self-starter that excels in a fast paced environment.
· Excellent communication skills.
· Strong customer service aptitude (internal and external customers) and ability to solve tough problems.
Qualifications:
· Most openings require a Bachelor’s Degree but some of our clients will accept equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree.
· Most positions require a minimum of 5 years of experience in federal contracting.
